Product Details

Rich caramel with a long floral finish. On first taste, warm notes of dried fig and Medjool date give way to a subtle spice — reminiscent of cardamom. The finish lingers for minutes, with a clean sweetness that never cloys. Best appreciated at room temperature.

Sourced exclusively from Apis mellifera jemenitica colonies tended by the Al-Rashidi family in Wadi Hadramout, Yemen. Elevation: 2,800–3,200m. Harvest window: October–November, when Sidr (Ziziphus spina-christi) trees are in full bloom. Cold-pressed within 48 hours of harvest. Batch #HL-2025-047.

Per 100g: Energy 304 kcal · Carbohydrates 82g · Natural sugars 79g · Protein 0.3g · Fat 0g. Rich in antioxidants (DPPH inhibition: 78.4%), flavonoids, and phenolic compounds. Contains live enzymes including diastase and invertase. Methylglyoxal (MGO) content: 263+ mg/kg.

Store at room temperature (15–25°C), away from direct sunlight. Do not refrigerate — cold temperatures accelerate crystallisation. Natural crystallisation is a sign of purity; gently warm the jar in a bowl of warm water (max 40°C) to reliquefy. Shelf life: 24+ months unsealed, indefinite when sealed.

Ships worldwide in a custom-designed insulated amber glass jar, packed in a luxury linen-lined box. Estimated delivery: 3–5 business days (US), 5–10 days (international). Free returns within 30 days if not completely satisfied — no questions asked.
